Flameworked Glass Flower Sculpture Course

Create a one-of-a-kind glass flower sculpture in this immersive, hands-on flameworking course. Over four sessions, students will learn how to form delicate petals, shape leaves, work with color, and assemble their individual elements into a finished sculptural piece.
This course focuses on repetition, control, and thoughtful design. Students will practice making multiple flowers and leaves, explore bending and assembly techniques, and finish the class with a completed glass sculpture.
Skill Level
This course is designed for students who already have some torch experience. Participants should have taken at least one flameworking class at our studio or have a few hours of prior torch time elsewhere.
While the techniques are approachable, the pace and structure of this course assume a basic comfort level with the torch. First-time students are encouraged to start with one of our beginner flameworking classes before enrolling, so they can get the most enjoyment and success out of this course.

Course Structure
Day 1: Torch fundamentals, demo, and clear flower and leaf practice
Day 2: Bending techniques, color application, and early assembly practice
Day 3: Color flowers and leaves, design adjustments, and prep for final assembly
Day 4: Final assembly and finishing techniques
