This course requires completing at least one Beginning Glassblowing 6-week course or proof of prior experience.

The course covers all the fundamentals, from gathering glass from the furnace to shaping it with various shop tools and transferring the piece to open the lip.
The primary focus is on creating open vessels such as vases, glasses, and bowls. Demonstrations and hands-on experience are included in the curriculum.
In the Intermediate course, students will also learn techniques for adding bits and feet to objects, as well as how to pull glass cane and perform simple color pickups using glass cane and shards.
This class is limited to 8 participants to ensure individualized attention. Each student will progress at their own pace.
There are no make up sessions for our course so please ensure before sign up that you are available for all of the dates the class is offered.Â
