The class will meet for 3 hours once a week and take place on Saturday mornings for a total of 3 hours. Please check our schedule to see which Course suits your schedule. Working with a professional glassblower to maximize learning and perfecting the skill of blowing glass.
This class will focus on all the basics from gathering glass out of the furnace to shaping it with an array of shop tools and transferring the piece to open up the lip.
Focus will be on creating an open vessel ( vase, glass, bowls, etc..)
There will be demos and lots of hands-on experience. Our instructors will help you experience the magic of hot glass! This hands-on session allows you to pick and apply colors, twist and turn them if you want, then blow or shape them into a unique and beautiful piece of art glass.
This class is limited to 8 people allowing individual attention with an introduction to all aspects of glass blowing. Both Beginners and Intermediates ( completion of one beginner course ) welcome.
Each student will advance at their own pace under the supervision of our instructors.
