Ready to turn up the heat and shape molten magic? This four-week beginner flameworking series is the perfect place to start your glass journey. Over the course of four two-hour sessions, you’ll build a strong foundation in working with glass in the torch flame — and walk away with your own dazzling creations.
What You’ll Do:
Week 1 — Marvelous Marbles: Dive into the basics of marble making while exploring intermediate pattern techniques beyond simple vortex styles. Think color layering, dot stacking, and pattern pulls for mesmerizing depth.
Weeks 2–4 — Intro to Sculpting: Transition from marbles to sculptural forms as you learn how to shape, attach, and balance molten glass to create small figurines, abstract shapes, or nature-inspired miniatures. You’ll gain hands-on experience in heat control, tool use, and design planning.
