Spark Their Creativity: Teen Stained Glass & Glass Fusing Classes at Blackstone River Glass Center

Looking for a creative outlet that's hands-on, beautiful, and genuinely fun? Our teen stained glass and glass fusing classes at Blackstone River Glass Center are the perfect place to discover a lifelong art form — and walk away with something stunning to show for it.

Why Glass Art?

Glass art is one of those rare crafts that combines color, light, and skill in a way that never gets old. Whether your teen is a budding artist or just looking for something different to try, working with glass builds patience, focus, and a serious sense of accomplishment.

Stained Glass Classes

In our stained glass classes, teens learn the traditional copper foil technique — the same method used by artists for over a century. Students choose their design, cut and shape their glass pieces, apply copper foil, and solder everything together into a finished panel that glows with color when held up to the light. No experience necessary — our instructors guide every step of the process.

Glass Fusing Classes

Glass fusing is a great introduction to working with glass in a kiln. Teens layer and arrange pieces of colored glass, which are then fired to create fused art pieces like coasters, plates, or decorative panels. It's a little bit science, a little bit art — and completely addictive.
