Service Description
This class is tailored to beginners that would like a bit more than just the "Create your own" experience. In this class, students will receive demonstrations and learn how to use all the tools necessary to make ones own piece. This is a small class with only 4 students per station so that the instructor can work with each student in depth. Beginners will start forming a solid form such as a paperweight, flower, heart. This is a good way to learn the steps without having to worry about centering your bubble ( less overwhelming ). After that we move into blowing bubbles. Students will each learn how to inflate the bubble by blowing into the blowpipe. After learning how to apply color, the instructor will assist the student into making an ornament, drinking vessel or bowl. Each student will make two pieces. NOTE: For those that have already taken a paperweight and/or ornament class, you will work with your instructor on something more advanced and get a choice of bowl, vase or whatever whimsy brings you! All glass will be cooled down slowly in an annealer and ready to pick up in 48 hours. Shipping is an option for an additional $10. We are closed on Mondays. This class is for ages 14 and up.
